In-home therapy offers massive benefits for both children and parents. For children, learning happens best in a comfortable, familiar environment where they feel safe to take communicative risks. For parents, it saves you hours of sitting in South Bay traffic and waiting rooms. Plus, you get to observe sessions directly and learn practical strategies to use with your child during everyday routines.

We provide individual/one-on-one early intervention services for little ones, 6 months to 3 years, who demonstrate delays/concerns in the area of early speech and language development. We also provide individual/one-on-one services for pre-school and school-aged children, 4-12 years, who demonstrate difficulty with their development of speech sounds (articulation and phonology), receptive and expressive language, and auditory comprehension.
Communication-Focused Play Experiences for Infants, Toddlers and Preschoolers:
Unlike traditional playgroups, our play experiences are thoughtfully designed to nurture speech, language, social, sensory, and early learning skills through engaging, developmentally appropriate activities. Caregivers actively participate alongside their children while learning simple, practical strategies they can use to encourage communication and build language throughout everyday interactions.
Each class blends songs and music, books, playful social interactions, sensory experiences, movement, and hands-on activities to support vocabulary, early conversation, turn-taking, joint attention, and emerging communication skills. Caregivers also receive guidance and developmental tips throughout the experience, empowering them to create meaningful, language-rich opportunities with their child long after class ends.

We specialize in infants (starting at six months), toddlers, preschool-aged children, and elementary-aged children (up to 12 years).
For our infants, toddlers, and preschoolers our sessions are structurally play-based which include planned, structured activities as well as child-led play activities. Our sessions are always highly engaging using toys and routines to naturally elicit and grow speech and language skills.
With our school-aged population sessions may target articulation, phonological skills, receptive and expressive language, vocabulary, grammar, social communication, auditory comprehension, and early literacy or phonemic awareness skills. Therapy is incorporated into meaningful activities, games, conversation, movement, and everyday routines to help children build skills that carry over into school, home, and social settings. Sessions are individualized to each child’s goals and learning style, with movement and sensory-based strategies incorporated when beneficial to support attention, regulation, and participation.

We do not offer insurance coverage at this time and operate on a private-pay model; however, we are able to provide an itemized invoice (Superbill) for you to submit to your insurance provider which has been successful by many clients. *See below under “Can my insurance get reimbursed?” for more detail.
By bypassing insurance restrictions, we work strictly for your child—not an insurance claims adjuster. We are free to customize our session lengths, goals, and frequency to whatever serves your family best.
-
No. Because we do not contract with insurance companies, you do not need a pediatrician's referral, a formal diagnosis code, or pre-authorization to begin therapy. You can schedule an evaluation or treatment whenever you feel your child needs support.
-
Can your insurance get reimbursed? Yes, in many cases! At the end of each month, we can provide you with a comprehensive, itemized invoice called a Superbill. This document contains all the necessary medical billing details (such as ICD-10 diagnostic codes and CPT procedure codes). You can submit this directly to your insurance provider to seek out-of-network reimbursement. We highly recommend calling your insurance provider beforehand to ask about your specific "out-of-network outpatient speech therapy" benefits. After our free consultation together I can email you the procedure of how to talk to your insurance company.
Do you accept FSA/HSA funds? Yes. Blooming Language Learners Speech Therapy Services & Play Clinic, Inc. accepts Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and Health Savings Account (HSA) funds for qualifying speech and language therapy services. Our in-home pediatric speech therapy services are provided by a licensed and certified Speech-Language Pathologist and are designed to address medically necessary communication and related developmental needs.
Families may use their FSA/HSA debit card when permitted by their plan or pay directly and submit an itemized receipt to their FSA/HSA administrator for reimbursement. Because individual plan requirements vary, families should confirm eligibility and reimbursement requirements directly with their FSA/HSA provider.
FSA/HSA eligibility and reimbursement are determined by the individual plan and applicable federal requirements.
