IMPORTANT: Classes run 45-60 minutes. Bring socks to wear during class. No outside toys/objects/items. No food or drink to be consumed during class although you may step outside of room if necessary. Be ready to smile, laugh, learn, and just have fun with your little one along with others in your community!

WAIVER
~I understand that the parent–child classes offered by Happy Talk Song & Sign South Bay with Miss Erin include activities designed to promote early communication development, play skills, movement, music, and social interaction.
Activities may include, but are not limited to:
Music and singing
Movement activities
Sensory play
Floor play and toy exploration
Parent–child interaction activities
Gross motor play
Group participation activities
I understand these activities may involve physical movement and interaction with toys, equipment, and other participants.
~I understand that participation in parent–child classes and play-based activities carries inherent risks, including but not limited to:
Slips, trips, or falls
Minor injuries such as bumps, bruises, or scrapes
Injuries resulting from interaction with toys or equipment
Injuries resulting from interaction with other participants
I voluntarily assume all risks, both known and unknown, associated with participation in these activities on behalf of myself and my child.
I understand and agree that:
Parents or caregivers must remain present at all times during class.
Parents/caregivers are solely responsible for supervising their child.
Happy Talk Song & Sign teachers do not provide childcare or individual supervision.
I agree to actively supervise my child and to intervene if my child engages in behavior that may pose a risk to themselves or others.
~To the fullest extent permitted by California law, I hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless:
· Happy Talk Song & Sign South Bay with Miss Erin, its owners, officers, employees, contractors, instructors, volunteers, agents, and representatives
from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, damages, losses, or causes of action arising out of or related to participation in the parent–child classes.
This release includes claims arising from ordinary negligence but does not apply to gross negligence or willful misconduct.
~I understand that classes may take place in rented facilities, community centers, or shared spaces not owned by Happy Talk Song & Sign South Bay with Miss Erin.
· I agree to follow all posted rules and safety guidelines of the facility.
· I further release and hold harmless the facility owner, landlord, or host location from any claims arising from participation in these activities.
~I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Happy Talk Song & Sign South Bay with Miss Erin from any claims, damages, or expenses (including attorney’s fees) arising from:
My actions
My child’s actions
My failure to supervise my child
Any damage caused to property or other participants
~I agree that my child and I will not attend class if we are experiencing symptoms of illness, including but not limited to:
Fever
Vomiting
Diarrhea
Severe cough
Significant nasal drainage
Contagious illness
I acknowledge that participation in group activities carries some risk of exposure to illness.
