Hello!!! I am Erin Mance, M.S., CCC-SLP (aka Miss Erin :). I have been a certified Speech-Language Pathologist for a little over 24 years, with 18 of those years spent practicing in the South Bay.
I am fascinated by how the brain develops and have a passion for teaching families how to utilize ALL modalities of learning to build brain connections. It is so fun to see the beneficial impact it has on our little ones daily. I also love to teach parents and caregivers how they can begin to see EVERY moment as a language opportunity, helping to take the pressure off of feeling like they have to “add” specialized moments into their day. I love when I have a mom tell me, “You know, my husband keeps telling me, ‘You sound just like Miss Erin!’” : )
My motto is: “If YOU aren’t having fun, then THEY aren’t having fun”……and what’s the fun in that?! : ) I cannot WAIT to have fun with you and your child!! Welcome to the Happy Talk! No!!! ALL are welcome! These classes are enrichment classes for all babies and toddlers in the community. This is not speech therapy, but it is a program led by a certified speech-language pathologist to teach parents specific tips and tricks on how to encourage and build early language development all while their babies engage in socialization, exploration, and play through sensory rich, language filled experiences. It is also a time for you to bond with your child as well as to develop happy and joyful relationships with others in this community!!!

Class locations vary throughout the South Bay in order to increase convenience. For our spring sessions we will be having classes in Torrance, South Redondo, Lomita, and Manhattan Beach. Please check the class schedules above as they will always be kept current for dates, times, and locations. I look forward to having you join any location that is convenient for you. : )

Classes run between 45-60 minutes.

Any caregiver is welcome to attend with their child (mother, father, grandparent, aunt, uncle, nanny, etc.) Space availability may be limited in certain locations so please let me know ahead of time if there will be more than one caregiver attending.
