Hello!!! I am Erin Mance, M.S., CCC-SLP (aka Miss Erin :) ). I have been a certified Speech-Language Pathologist for a little over 24 years, with 18 of those years spent practicing in the South Bay. Early in my career I had amazing job opportunities working in elementary school settings, special-needs preschool settings, and two children’s hospitals, but the last 14 years I have been working solely in early intervention. Throughout my career I have been surrounded by SO many wonderful childhood interventionists including early childhood education teachers, OTs, PTs, Adaptive PE teachers, psychologists, general education teachers, special education teachers and other SLPs, as well as the assistants and aides who loved each child greatly. All of them brought their A-game 100% of the time and I feel so lucky to have been able to learn from each and every one of those amazing individuals. They have shaped me into the speech therapist I am today.

I have a love of how the brain develops and a passion for teaching families how to utilize ALL modalities of learning to build brain connections. It is so fun to see the beneficial impact it has on our little ones daily. I also love to teach parents and caregivers how they can begin to see EVERY moment as a language opportunity, helping to take the pressure off of feeling like they have to “add” specialized moments into their day. My biggest compliment is when I have been told, “You know, my husband keeps telling me, ‘You sound just like Miss Erin!’” : )

Lastly, I have told all of my families for years now, “If YOU aren’t having fun, THEY aren’t having fun”……and what’s the fun in that!!!! : ) I cannot WAIT to have fun with you and your child!!
